Snow Day

I love snow. I always have and I hope that I always will! On Saturday afternoon the snow started coming down and it kept on until the early hours of the morning until we had several inches of snow on the ground (a big deal for England!). Armed with my camera I headed off on a walk around York to photograph the city in the snow! Here are some of my results...

 After my epic walk, my housemates and I ventured into the garden to get creative! Unfortunately, the snow wouldn't roll into balls for a proper snowman so we had to use the recycle bins and a bucket to pack the snow and form the parts of the body - and so our SNOW ROBOT was born! Let me introduce to you the Etty 5000! Decorated entirely with bits and pieces found in our kitchen!

And despite the cold, we all had a go at snow angels!
