Just 3 weeks to go until the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games! This week's project takes the form of cake pops inspired by the Olympic Rings. The outsides are dipped in white chocolate coloured like the rings, and the inside is made up cake mixture of the same colours. I used this cake pop recipe to make the cakes with the following changes...
1. Divide the cake mixture into 5 and colour each one (black, white, blue, red and green) an Olympic Ring colour (I used food colour paste). Crumble each cake colour separately and mix with butter cream icing/
2. When forming the cake pops use some crumb mixture from each colour
3. To coat, melt white chocolate and mix in food colouring until desired colour. Dip in cake pop and leave to set
WARNING! These cake pops are INSANELY sweet!
Have a Great Weekend
