But I couldn't resist this so I tried again! In the end I didn't really follow the recipe and just kind of made it up but the results were soooo yummy...
Cookies and Cream Popcorn
Makes 8 servings
1/3 Cup Popcorn Kernels
200g White Chocolate (less a few squares for taste testing!)
8-10 Oreo Cookies
1. Pop your popcorn as per the instructions on the packet (I got very excited when mine started popping! It is very satisfying!)
2. Melt white chocolate in bowl over a pan of boiling water
3. Crush oreos into small pieces
4. Mix everything together - popcorn, white chocolate and oreos. Leave for a couple of hours to set
5. Bag up and enjoy!
I made these for when my friend Tori and I went to the cinema to see 'The Lucky One' - We are mega Zac Efron fans! But of course I couldn't just take the popcorn in any old bag so I made these cute printable labels to go on top of the 16cm x 11cm plastic bags I found (they were actually supposed to hold greeting cards but they work fine for popcorn too!)
So that you can have the complete movie experience, I have made the printable available to you...
Just fold the labels in half and staple on top of the popcorn bags.
And just because it makes my day every time I see it...here is the video of Zac Efron and Taylor singing a duet on the Ellen show...
Have a great day!

DeleteI love the printable, and I feel ya about the thing for Zac Efron. It's silly, but I get it. :)
ReplyDeleteHa! Glad I'm not the only one!
DeleteI don't know if I'd be able to leave this for a few hours to set up, I'd probably have to start with a double batch just to make sure any one else got some! Love the printable you made to go with this, perfect for a party. Thanks for sharing at Thursday's Treasures.
ReplyDeleteDouble batch is a great idea! I did 'taste test' quite a lot of it! Wouldn't want to give my friends something that was not up to standard!
DeleteWow! That sounds delicious! I definitely must try this recipe. Thanks for sharing!
